OB/PREGNANCY

OB/Pregnancy - Regular prenatal care is essential for the health of both the mother and the baby. We recommend that pregnant women receive early and regular prenatal care throughout their pregnancy. During prenatal visits, our healthcare providers can perform routine tests, monitor the development of the fetus, and provide education and support to ensure a healthy pregnancy and delivery. We also offer ultrasound services to provide more information about the baby’s development.

Osteoporosis Screening - Women over 65 years of age or post-menopausal women under 65 years with risk factors should get screened for osteoporosis. This screening test helps detect early bone loss, a common condition in women that can lead to fractures.

STD/STI Testing - Regular STD/STI testing is important for sexually active women to ensure their reproductive health and prevent the spread of infections. Our healthcare providers can offer testing for a range of STDs/STIs and provide appropriate treatment if necessary.

Skin Cancer Screening - Women should undergo skin cancer screening regularly to detect any suspicious growths or changes in moles, which can be a sign of skin cancer. This is especially important for women with a family history of skin cancer or those with a history of excessive sun exposure.

Colon Cancer Screening - Women should undergo colon cancer screening regularly, starting at age 50. This screening test can help detect the early signs of colon cancer, which is the third most common cancer in women. There are several different types of screening tests available, including colonoscopy, stool tests, and sigmoidoscopy.
