Pharmacy Tech


DESCRIPTION

Northwest Community Health Center is looking for a motivated and team oriented Full Time Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast paced environment, display competencies in performing detail-oriented work with accuracy, interact with staff and patients in a positive way, and be able to make critical decisions as necessary. Job requires high school diploma and State of Montana Pharmacy Technician License. Experience with pharmacy computer systems, and/or one or more years’ experience in a healthcare environment preferred. Pharmacy Clerk/Cashier


DESCRIPTION

Join a dynamic team and work in the NWCHC pharmacy. Applicants must be detail oriented, enjoy working with the public, be able to work as a team with others in the pharmacy, communicate well and be able to comply with all state and federal pharmacy regulations as well as HIPAA.

The pharmacy cashier will support pharmacists and technicians by greeting and checking out customers, restocking supplies, and maintaining an organized front end OTC section. The pharmacy cashier may complete technician functions once trained in specific tasks and appropriately licensed. Position is full time and has employee benefits including health, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, and 401k retirement.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Scan customers’ items through register quickly and correctly
  • Process payments operating all aspects of the register, including cash and card transactions, scanners, and counting correct change back to customers
  • Thank customers for their business when they leave
  • Answer phone calls in a friendly manner and triage calls to pharmacy staff
  • Assist with drug inventory
  • Assist with stocking and cleaning

Patient Account Representative


DESCRIPTION

Northwest Community Health Center is looking for a positive and outgoing Full Time Patient Account Representative to join our team. The successful candidate must be a team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions. The patient accounts representative functions as part of the health care team and is responsible for preparing and processing insurance claims, posting insurance and patient payments, adjusting patient accounts, assisting customers with billing statements, conducting telephone inquiries to and from patients and insurance companies, and collection of NWCHC’s accounts receivable. The patient account representative’s primary role is to ensures maximum revenue is collected through the accurate collection of patient insurance data; medical coding is appropriate and linked to diagnostic codes; claims are transmitted, and payments are posted timely and accurately; and collection arrangements are made on patient accounts.  This position is also a relief position for the NWCHC receptionists. Required skills include High School diploma or GED equivalent along with computer skills in word processing, spread sheets, typing, filing and excellent customer relations and communication skills. Previous experience in a medical clinic with insurance billing, coding and health care plans preferred.

Northwest Community Health Center (NWCHC) is looking for a full time Nurse Practitioner or Certified Physicians Assistant to join its multidisciplinary primary care team. If you are interested in providing comprehensive patient centered care to families in rural Northwest Montana we have an exciting opportunity. The selected candidate will provide a broad range of care to patients of all ages, and be responsible to manage the needs of a distinct panel of patients including chronic disease management and follow up, acute care, and many in office procedures. All NWCHC staff participate in quality assurance projects and work among highly qualified professionals in setting goals of delivering high quality care to all. Successful applicants must be flexible with strong interpersonal skills and sound judgment.


NWCHC is an integrated behavioral health, primary care, pharmacy, and oral health delivery system in Libby and Troy Montana. Currently the organization is a NHSC site with a competitive HPSA score qualifying for loan repayment.
